Buyer Associate
Location: Chula Vista, CA - Hybrid, on site 4 days in Chula Vista, work from home on Fridays

Supports acquisition and sourcing of materials and resources required for the company for direct and/or indirect material including assisting with contracts (LTA) and order creation

Job description – including:

  • Place purchase orders, ensure the accuracy, obtain receipt confirmation
  • Monitor deliveries, expedite and update PO delivery/statistical dates
  • Add detailed notes to relevant business applications, such as delivery commits, forecast/sales, supplier stock levels, shipment tracking information
  • Attend meetings to provide delivery updates to internal stakeholders
  • Process Excel script mass updates
  • Excel report consolidation between Supplier and internal reports
  • Support Senior Buyers as needed


Shift (including hours to be worked): 7-3:30 pm, 8 hours
Job level: Entry
Required qualifications: University Degree in Business
Experience: At least 0-1 years
Preferred qualifications:

  • SAP or similar ERP systems
  • MS office experience, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent written skills and able to communicate with all levels of leadership
  • Remain calm under pressure and deal with ambiguity.
